Sing While You Wash
Materials: a timer/phone timer app, a sink, hand soap, paper, a writing utensil
Materials: a timer/phone timer app, a sink, hand soap, paper, a writing utensil
Bring your child to the sink so they can wash their hands. Set your timer for 20 seconds (the recommended time) and have your child make up a song while they wash their hands.
Write down the lyrics they come up with as fast as you can and then boom, your child has their own handwashing song to help them remember how long to wash their hands!
If you want, you and your child can edit the lyrics afterward to make the song exactly how you want it to be. Use the timer to make sure it lasts 20 seconds!
