Have your child think about a few of their favorite things. For example, they can name their favorite color, favorite food, and favorite game.
Then help your child phone or video call a friend of theirs to ask them about their favorite things in the same categories. Point out any category where your child and their friend have different favorites.
This is a great way to show your child that a friend doesn’t have to like all of the same things you do. You can be different and still be great friends!
