Make a Paper Fan
Materials: a sheet of paper
Materials: a sheet of paper
Ask your child if they ever felt a cool breeze on a hot day. Moving air feels cool on our skin. Now help your child use fine-motor skills and creativity to make their own summer breeze—a paper fan.
First, have your child decorate or draw on the sheet of paper.
Then, show your child how to fold it into ~1 in. strips, alternating over and under to create pleats.
Once the whole paper is folded, take one end and tuck it under to make a handle. Then spread out the top end and your child has a paper fan to keep them cool on a hot day!

Pregúntale a tu niño si alguna vez ha sentido una brisa fresca en un día caluroso. El aire en movimiento nos refresca. Ahora ayuda a tu niño a hacer su propia brisa de verano con un abanico de papel, poniendo en práctica sus destrezas motrices finas y creatividad.
Primero, pídele a tu niño que decore o dibuje una hoja de papel.
Luego, muéstrale cómo doblar franjas de 1 pulgada aproximadamente, alternando los pliegues de un lado a otro hasta que el papel parezca un acordeón.
Una vez el papel esté completamente plegado, dobla uno de los extremos para hacer el mango. Entonces, despliega la parte de arriba y ¡el niño tendrá un abanico de papel con el que refrescarse en los días de calor!
