Create a List of Helpful Home Habits

This activity helps your child reflect on how to help out and show kindness at home, and then to carry out those good intentions!
How can your child be a good citizen at home? They can be help out and be kind!
Work with your child to create a list of kind of helpful things they can do. It can be helping to set the table, say good morning, put clothes away, etc.
Have your child generate ideas. Help them write them down. You can add pictures or stick figures that pre-readers will understand. Let your child decorate the list. Hang it somewhere visible.
