Letter to the Firehouse

Firefighters are helpers and they work right in our community. Model letter-writing as you work together to write a thank-you letter to your local firefighters.
Start off with the date and "Dear Firefighters:". Then ask your child to dictate some ideas. You can also trace your child’s hand on the paper and label it “High-Five, Firefighters!” Then have your child sign the letter.
You can mail the letter or take a trip to your neighborhood fire station to deliver it!
