Good Sport Ball Toss!
Materials: A ball, or balled-up pair of socks
Materials: A ball, or balled-up pair of socks
Have a game of catch, while you practice sportsmanship. Toss a ball (or a balled-up pair of socks) back and forth. Start close to each other, then take a step back with each toss. Tell your child that if someone else drops the ball, say “Nice try!” If someone makes a good catch say, “Good catch!” If your child drops the ball, they can say, “I’ll try again.”
Keep playing until you can’t back up anymore!
